SAE 100R4 wire inserted low pressure hydraulic hose is frequently
applied to suction & return line, anti-static delivery line, and
vacuum applications for petroleum-based and water-based hydraulic
fluids. It is constructed with an inner tube of oil-resistant
synthetic rubber, a reinforcement consisting of a ply, or plies, of
woven or braided textile fibers with a suitable spiral of body
wire, and an oil and weather resistant synthetic rubber cover.
Construction: This hose shall consist of an inner tube of oil
resistant synthetic rubber, a reinforcement consisting of a ply or

body steel wire, together with an oil and weather resistant
synthetic rubber cover.
Applications: Suitable for conveying petroleum-based hydraulic oil, lubricating
oil, gasoline, fuel oil, water and air, etc
Tube: Black oil-resistant synthetic rubber
Reinforcement: One or two layers of braided fiber and one layer of spiral steel
wire
Cover: Black oil-resistant, weather-resistant, wear-resistant synthetic
rubber
Temperature Range: -40 °C to + 100℃ (-40°F to + 212°F)
