Many hoses can degrade in the presence of oil and are not strong
enough for use in hydraulic systems. In the automotive, mining, oil
processing, chemical manufacturing, and food processing industries,
there is a demand for high-quality industrial hoses that can stand
up to pressure and in the presence of petrochemicals.
Wire braided hoses offer greater temperature and pressure
resistance than other industrial hoses. These oil-resistant hoses
do an excellent job transporting fuels, chemicals, oil, air, steam,
and water. Steel wire braided hoses can be used to transport
petrochemicals and hydraulic fluids under relatively high pressures
and temperatures. In addition, oil-resistant wire braided hoses can
provide flexible connections between steel pipes in hydraulic
systems.
